Gramm Davis is a 2027 C/RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Waxahachie. Features a taller/lean build with some present strength. Ran a 7.52 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed developing actions. Avg. quickness to the baseball with some slow down into reception. Fields it clean and gets to release rather quick where he shows avg. arm strength where he got on top of throws that were accurate to the bag. Behind the plate, worked from a side saddle and one knee down set up. Caught it consistently out front and showed a quality exchange that happened near the low-mid chest. Gains a ton of ground with good direction towards 2nd. Arm showed well in the upper 70s where most were on the bag. At the plate, sits in a wider base with relaxed lower-hanging hands. Simple load/move into launch where he operates in balance. Swing shows some above avg. bat speed where the barrel works on an uphill path through. Stayed through the middle of the field from both sides but showed better barrel feel from the left. Found a couple pullside LD knocks from the left side during gameplay. On the mound, shows a simple/smooth delivery. Works exclusively from the stretch. Smaller lift to the hip with minimal driveleg drop/engagement but initiates drift well. Shows a longer/loose arm action out the glove that works up to a higher 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up into the upper 70s, T79 that had some downhill plane to it. Showed a developing CB with 12-6 shape in the upper 60s that had some noticeable hump out the hand. Mixd in a mid 70s CH as well. Good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
