Anthony Dove is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Easton, MD who attends Arch Bishop Spalding. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build. Primary outfielder that moves aggressively and hops into transition with a one-hand gather. Takes good angles to the ball with a clean funnel. Secondary right-handed pitcher works from a core-level leg lift and lands on-line. Medium length arm action and an off-line up-tempo three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (2070 RPM) was 73-78 and had good arm-side run and can get into the hands of right-handed hitters. Flashed a nice fading change-up (1415 RPM) in the upper 60s. Also showed a 12-6 shaped curveball (2333 RPM) that was mid-60s and got good depth on it. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with even feet, utilizes a small negative toe tap trigger. Neutral handset with a flat bat to start and turns hard with the core. Creates separation with some bat speed and some impact off the barrel. Middle-of-the-field approach. Intriguing player with a high ceiling. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 14u Coastal All-State Games Top Prospect List.
