KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Morning Session
Anaya Corwise is a 5'5, class of 2024 SS/OF, from Liberty, MO who attends Liberty HS. Anaya is an emerging player who shows promising ability based on a sound fundamental foundation. She showed projectable speed, posting a 3.35 20-yard dash and even more impressive 1.13 5-yard burst time. A primary infielder, Anaya is gritty and isn't afraid to stick her nose in there. Her developing glove plays well and she transitions with confidence. Her 54-mph throws are firm. At the plate, Anaya shows a fine ability in the bunt game. She gets her barrel to contact regularly. Her path is long and smooth and when her timing is in sync, she can power the ball. Her unique style and approach to her swing operation works for her and as she adds strength and gains experience, she should evolve into a prospect with the bat in her hands. Anaya is a great effort player. Her positive disposition is evident. As she continues to gain experience against higher level competition, her game will continue to improve. Great foundation! Very promising future!
