Brock Reilley is a 2009 LHP/OF/1B with a 5'11", 155 lb frame from Fort Wayne, IN who attends Blackhawk Christian HS. Brock has a lean build that projects to add a lot of strength. On the mound Brock throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an easy arm action and good extension out front. He has a simple and easy delivery that he does a good job of repeating. Brock gets nice armside run on his fastball and has nice depth on a solid 2 to 8 curveball. He fills up the strike zone and has an advanced knowledge of how to pitch. At the plate Brock has an aggressive approach with good bat speed and quick hands. He gets good leverage in his swing, but tends to have too much extra movement before hitting the ball. His upside is solid at the plate and he just needs to retool his approach some. In the outfield Brock projects well with clean actions and solid arm strength. He is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs as he gets older and stronger.
