Cooper Knight is a 2029 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Buda, TX who attends Buda Johnson. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, clean actions away from the base, glove works nicely out front, strong arm on throws across diamond with accuracy. Shorter steps on approach in the outfield, fields it out front cleanly, up to 90 mph with throws, builds and maintains momentum throughout. Also pitched, coiled leg lift at start with a full and loose arm action through the back. Ball comes out of the hand well, up to 87 mph with running life through the zone. Sweeping slider and bigger 1-7 curveball with depth for two distinct breakers. Worked around the zone, full arsenal with big projection. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Swings it with intent, shows strength and can get the barrel out front well. Maintains path well, shows carry to the gaps and picked up a backside double off a heater in live action. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
