Eric Haffner is a 2007 RHP/IF with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame from Mission Viejo CA, who attends Capistrano Valley. Haffner has a slender body with a thin lean build. Haffner pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He has arm speed with smooth mechanics. Haffner has good mechanics and stays balanced through his delivery. He gets sink on his fastball and maintains good arm speed on his change up. Haffner has sink on his change up and throws an 11/5 curveball. He throws 3 pitches for strikes and commands both sides of the plate. Defensively, Haffner has good hands with arm strength. At the plate, Haffner uses his hands well in his swing and his bat is on a line drive path. Good student.
