Will Bailey is a 2008 C/2B with a 5'8'', 165 lb. frame from Seale AL, who attends Russell County. Bailey has a compact body with an athletic build. He has solid present strength for his size. Defensively, Bailey has quick feet and moves well behind the plate. He pushes ball at release which limits his arm strength and accuracy on his throws. Bailey has effort in his actions and blocks the ball well. He receives the ball well and has developing actions behind the plate. At the plate, Bailey has a wide stance and starts slightly open. He has high hands and a high back elbow and steps out some to start his swing. He looks to pull and lift the baseball and has some present power. Bailey tends to swing around the ball and needs to maintain more balance in his swing. He has some bat speed and will hit for more power as he learns to use his lower half more in his swing.
