Eli Bagley is a 2028 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Clayton, NC, who attends Clayton High School. A strong, athletic 2028 prospect with size, versatility, and arm strength. His frame and tools give him upside on both sides of the ball. On the mound, he works from a simple, repeatable delivery with a high three-quarter slot. He has feel for spinning the baseball, with a slider that has tight spin and depth. He mixes in a curveball and competes with confidence in his breaking stuff. Defensively, he shows solid athleticism and the ability to move well in the infield. He has a strong, quick arm that plays across and shows comfort changing arm angles when needed. He handles the backhand well and has the tools to remain on the left side. Offensively, he is a right-handed hitter with an inline stance and a compact move into contact. He has strong hands and a quick, direct path to the baseball. There is present bat speed and a pull-side line drive approach, with flashes of impact when he gets extended. Good student.
