2004 Northeast Undergrad Showcase
Daniel Carter is a 2006 catcher from Halifax, MA, with a solid 5'8", 155 pound frame. He is a switch hitter with good pull power from both sides of the plate. Carter also showed good bat control, and kept the ball on the ground or on the line consistently. He’s an all out hustle backstop with good defensive ability. He showed an efficient throwing action with good accuracy and a 2.23 pop time in workouts. Carter also showed quick feet and soft hands receiving the ball. Carter is a player to watch in 2006 with an excellent upside and an old school catcher’s mentality. He is a very good student.
