Jeffrey Charron is a 2022 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Braintree, MA who attends Braintree. Large, athletic frame with broadness to shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front, long arm action through the backside, gets it out for glove and showed some fluidity to release on throws to second base, tends to get cross body on throws across the diamond, shows arm strength and carry to target. Fields the ball out front with two hands in the outfield, developing overall actions and creates some angle on release. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; subtle use of lower half with weight shift and can continue to unlock added strength with implementation. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing, stays short to the ball, shows some quickness to hands and remains short through the zone, can get additional extension in swing out front, shows some jump off the barrel when squared.
