Bax Hill is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lebanon, TN who attends Goodpasture Christian. Medium athletic build with broad shoulders and the beginnings of some present strength. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, good glove work to the back hand, long arm action with some young carry on his throws, adjusted his arm slots well and made accurate throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a short and repeatable swing, mostly middle of the field contact with some ability to back spin the ball and create some carry, solid swing mechanics to build on as he gets stronger. Also pitched, works from a quick side step/leg raise delivery with good direction to the plate, side arm release slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with big run and sink at times. Change up had good depth and similar shape, also threw a short sweeping slider while throwing strikes with all his pitches. Good student.
