Hayes Ressler is a 2029 2B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Cheyenne Mountain. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, moves well up the middle on feet with a clean gather, young actions to the backhand, shorter arm action through the back and shows ability to drop slot when needed, carry on throws on to first base. Graded best in the outfield, fields the ball to side, deliberate tempo to actions, similar arm action working to a higher three-quarters release point, quickness to arm and shows strength and carry on throws. Also pitched, up-tempo delivery with effort at release; fastball topped out at 71 mph from a three-quarters release, worked around the zone and mixed in a curveball up to 55 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Rotational swing with a barrel tilt at start, swings with intent and generates nice present bat speed through the zone, shows flashes when squared up off of the barrel, steady contact. Very good student. Named to the 13u Main Event Top Prospect List.
