Jayla Plotz is a 2024 LHP from Sibley IA, who attends Sibley-Ocheyedan HS.Overall has good solid mechanics, good front side resistance, and as she to continues to grow her explosiveness she will see her velocity increase in all pitches. She has a good difference of speed with her change up, needs to work on keeping it low in the zone consistently. Her drop ball was showcased as her best pitch with good speed good break and does a good job staying tall behind the ball. She is a tall lengthy athlete with major upside in the circle. Offensively, she is a stand in LHH with gap to gap power, but pull side is where she generates most of her pop. does a good job swinging with a purpose and does not get cheated in the box. When she stays short to the ball she see most of her power and ball flight of the bat. Overall good solid LHP who has the ability to get take her game to the next level. Excited to watch this athlete progress and see what the future holds for her at the next level.
