Atley Edenfield is a 2026 3B/MIF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends De Soto. Has a smaller, compact frame with good length for size. Primary infielder with solid footwork moving towards the ball. Fields the ball out in front, showed the ability to move laterally to the ball. Slower transition from fielding out front into release across the infield. Will improve as the frame continues to grow and physical development takes place. During BP, Edenfield hit from and upright stance with a wider base. Tends to have a heavier front side and land hard on front foot at point of contact. Used a bigger leg kick to keep on time. Has some rotational hitting traits in the upper half of his body, occasionally pulling off the ball to the pull-side of the field. Level bat path. Excellent student.
