Oscar Diez is a 2026 C/OF, UT with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Prairie Village, KS who attends Shawnee Mission East. Medium size athletic frame with some present strength. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Versatile defensive player that showed footwork getting to a quality fielding position in the outfield with momentum carrying through the baseball to throw. Average arm strength and above average accuracy throwing to bases from the outfield. An accurate throwing arm from behind the plate with a quick transfer, threw out a runner at 2B in game. Hit from an even base at the plate with load stride timing. Uphill bat path with some present hand speed, consistently on time at the plate with the barrel control to hit to all fields. Handled a low 80's fastball in game for a line drive base hit. Some traits to develop at the plate. Named to Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
