Bryan Wilhelm is a 2022 1B/ with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Irvine. Large frame with an already filling out build showing a strong lower half. Ran a 8.98 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he proved to be fundamentally sound in keeping the baseball out front. Gathers with confidence in the glove. Good footwork turning two and was accurate to the bag throwing it 75 mph. Feel for the position showing and fits the first base profile well. Right-Handed Hitter, starting upright before working into a toe tap trigger. Hands drop into separation before utilizing a slightly uphill swing. Bat speed present as the ball jumped off the barrel when he timed it up. Projects as a power type bat going forward.
