William Britt is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lakeland, TN who attends Christian Brothers. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, fast transfer out of glove and gains ground with lower half, ball comes out of hand cleanly and athleticism plays in actions, repeats mechanics. Plays a clean third base as well, compact arm action and works consistently on top of the ball, strong throws across in game with plenty of carry, athletic footwork on the charge play. Also pitched, big upside on the mound, simple and well timed delivery, side step at start of mechanics. Fluid and effortless arm action working to a three-quarters release point; maintains direction down the mound, fastball topped out at 83 mph and showed big carry through the zone. Worked to the corners well and showed a curveball with 11-5 shape and depth, tight spin to it and attacked the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Stays short to the baseball and keeps hands inside the ball, can shorten lower half mechanics in shift, shows carry to the pull side when squared up, best contact when getting extended out front. Named to the 2023 13u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
