Adam Baggetta is a 2022 OF/3B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Fountain Valley HS. Adam is a twitchy and obviously athletic player who brings multiple skills to the park. In addition to his noteworthy talent on the diamond, Adam is also a gifted student in the classroom. He ran a highly impressive 6.81 60 yard dash. A primary outfielder, Adam is an impressive defender. His easy and quick feet allow him to position quickly and confidently. He plays through the fielding action with gathering momentum. His glove is certain and sure. He has a quicker transition to a plus throwing arm that gets his 83 mph throws on plane and on target with commendable effort. His defensive game certainly projects. At the plate, Adam has a sound approach. He is balanced at the ready and has a simple load and quick trigger. He has a flatter bat path with some lift at contact. He shows strength in his hands and his plus timing to contact is noticeable. He has ability to drive the ball with force from gap to gap. His power is emerging and could be a big part of his game moving forward. There is a lot to like about Adam's overall game that certainly projects to the next level.
