Tucker Fountain is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Edison. Recorded a 7.74 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with square shoulders and present strength throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher that works with a quick pace and high energy. Incorporates a belt high leg lift into balance, while using drop-and-drive lower half mechanics down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-80s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 86 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with some natural arm-side life to his fastball, showed good command to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a tight slider with short horizontal tilt to it and replicated changeup as his primary secondary offerings. Showed ability to land them both for strikes, while manipulating the shape at times on the breaking ball by adding more vertical depth to it. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even stance with a low hand set, high back elbow and aggressive stride into contact. Intent based swing with slightly upward swing path and some present bat speed. Long levers allow for some leverage out in from when on-time, flashing occasional impact and carry when in-sync. Displayed power potential from time-to-time, launching several balls to the deeper parts of the field.
