Luis J Perez is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Sabana Seca, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Taller height and strong frame with good strength in the base. A primary pitcher, uses a small side step and higher leg lift working down the slope in line. Shorter arm stroke on the back and good timing and coordination throughout. Uses the fastball to set up a good two-plane slider and 12/6 curveball. Really good feel shaping his offering and tunneling them off each other. Fearless mix and can absolutely pound the zone, getting some swing and miss and soft contact. Knows how to pitch.
