Alexandro Forte is a 2023 2B/C, 3B with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Killian Senior. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary second baseman with clean footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a higher three-quarters arm slot creating solid carry to the bag at 78 mph. Also worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Stays low and gains ground while receiving the baseball. Quick, clean glove transfer and released from a compact arm slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 75 mph. Best workout pop time of 1.99. Switch hitter with a balanced stance and slightly lower hand set from each side of the plate. Showed a clean, fluid path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field from each side but flashed more barrel whip with the ability to drive the gap from the right side. Excellent student as well.
