Eli Michaelis is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-8 156 lb. frame from Wauwatosa, WI who attends Wauwatosa East. Recorded a 6.99 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Medium frame with a wiry and slender build, has plenty of room to fill. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach, fields it off to the side and has some twitch to the actions. High effort thrower with a long and drawn back arm action, proved to have quality arm strength, recorded throws at 87 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a long and offline arm action and a high release. Tends to drift off towards the first base side, can stay more directional on the mound. Flashed a solid curveball with 12-6 shape and late downer bite, ran the fastball up to 84 mph and has a nice two pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with low hand and back elbow set, loads into a deep arm bar and utilizes a small toe tap trigger. Big hand hitch in the load, flat swing overall, lays the barrel back and turns. Pull side approach, tends to fly open at times. Has quickness in his hands and found some barrels during his round, limited impact at present, will improve as he gets stronger and develops his bat speed. Great student.
