Jacob Scott is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 216 lb. frame from D'Iberville, MS who attends DIberville Senior. Extra large and physical frame. Ran a 7.88 second 60 yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a rocker step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, varies his arm slot for deception, stays closed off as he lands to the plate, deceptive delivery. Fastball topped out at 68 mph with sinking action, mixes in a curveball with 1-7 shape and plenty of depth, throws strikes and will do so when varying leg lifts as well. Secondary outfielder, sits back on the baseball with high 3/4 arm slot throws up to 64 mph. Left-handed hitter, high leg lift to start swing, strong hands with pop to the pull side, adjustments to swing plane will do dividends as strength at impact is evident. Good student.
