Anthony Neubeck is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Hugo, MN who attends Mahtomedi. Recorded a 7.31 in the 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher has a tall and lean frame with a full windup and a long side-step into a well-balanced, high leg lift as he rides the back leg down the mound very well. He has great downhill action on his fastball out of an over-the-top arm slot and his fastball has late life with good arm side run. Neubeck mixes in a great breaking ball with good depth 2-7 action out of the same arm slot as his fastball topping 88 mph. He has a great feel of strike zone with great pitch ability. Also taking groundballs at first base and showcasing good arm strength throwing an 87 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter steps into the box with a slightly crouched, even stance and a short leg lift trigger. Neubeck has a short, compact swing as he works the ball with a line drive approach utilizing good bat speed and quick hands. Excellent student.
