Darren Williams is a 2025 OF/IF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Clarksdale, MS who attends Lee Academy. Nice athletic build with good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight and well balanced stance with a good shift into contact, hits calm and under control, short clean swing with some extension out front, middle of the field line drive contact with some carry, nice base swing to grow into with repetitions and physical maturity. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, can work more aggressively through the ball and in his footwork/transition into throwing, arm action is loose and long with good projection especially with more lower half momentum into his throws. Also worked out in the infield but tools fit best in the outfield.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
