Samuel Valenti is a 2024 OF/RHP, IF with a 6-1 193 lb. frame from Santa Rosa, CA who attends Montgomery. Large frame with a physical presence as he shows strength throughout the frame. Ran a 7.44 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, good first step instincts as he worked aggressively to and through the baseball. Clean gather and then works into extra steps in the crow hop. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 78 mph during drills. Kept throws down with carry and was accurate to the bag. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step and then brings the hands over the head. Leaning on back side at the top and then did a good job staying direct to his target line. Medium arm circle in the back and then released from a three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 80 mph and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball. Right-Handed Hitter, starting closed off with bat wrap over the helmet. Hands stay high upon separation before he uncoils. Bat speed showing as he throws hands at the baseball looking to do damage with every cut. Very loud contact when he found the barrel and projects power in the box going forward.
