Jonny Deets is a 2027 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Lacrosse, WI, who attends Aquinas. A medium frame and build with a more sturdy build. Projects well. Ran a 6.72 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who moved well with lighter feet and a feel to get the glove down early. He was able to get to it out in front and play through it well, with the feel for changing slots as needed. Had a longer and loose arm action with a general three-quarters slot & feel to adjust as needed. He was accurate across with throws at 87 mph. Good footwork and the glove actions showed. Very quality round of defensive work. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with a medium base, and a simple trigger working into it. He had an easy rhythm with the hands and lower half, staying balanced. He showed a shorter stroke with good bat speed working through it. He produced hard-hit line-drive contact all over the field showing direct hands and feel to work back through the middle of the field. Smooth short-to-long swing that made for a good round of BP swings. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Found a barrel in-game as well. Great student. Named to 2025 Midwest Indoor Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
