2021 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Jake McNamara is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Marne, MI who attends Unity Christian High Schools. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Hits from open-based stance with high hands, long stride into swing, full path with some length, wants to lift pull-side with back shoulder dipping into swing, hands work on more inside path, projects for power with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, bounce to footwork with solid lateral agility, waits back on the ball, looks it in deep, plays with energy, length to release, clocked up to 79 mph across the diamond. Very good student.
