Kaden McCoy is a 2024 SS/RHP, IF with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita. Primary shortstop with a young frame that has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Has developing athleticism, showcasing young footwork and developing glove actions. Has some feel for the position, playing through the actions and making throws with developing arm strength up to 67 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter that starts from a slightly crouched and even stance, with a large leg lift trigger and drifting shift to contact. Executes a middle of the field to pull-side approach, with a developing strength at the point of contact and some present feel for the barrel. Has a loose path to contact with an uphill barrel plane and will start to impact the ball with more consistency with added strength and size. Good student.
