Paul Cucuzzo is a 2025 LHP/ with a 5-4 134 lb. frame from Shirley, NY who attends William Floyd. Recorded a 8.16 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary left-handed pitcher; full windup delivery with big rocker step into a slightly inward leg lift and shorter stride out foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 50s for the duration of his outing with slight arm-side run from an over-the-top arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve as the young left-hander matures. Simple, repeatable delivery that will bode well for future velocity gains as he add strength and continues to refine mechanics. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Displays deliberate footwork to field slightly deeper, while transferring cleaning into a short throwing motion. Fairly clean turns with potential improvements as he continues to mature. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Lofted stroke with rhythmic hand load and rotational lower half mechanics. Hands oriented swing with mostly pull-side contact and occasional line drive to right centerfield. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
