Defensively, Kenadi Kniffen makes the routine plays at 2B and shows an accurate arm. Arm strength will develop as she matures and gains strength. As she continues to work on efficient movements and a quick first step, her range on tougher balls will continue to grow. She is a steady player who has a high upside.
Offensively, Kniffen is a left-handed hitter and slapper who has a lot of tools at her disposal. Hitting, she creates some good barrel whip and has a nice barrel angle at contact. She has a mechanically sound swing. Slapping, she does a great job letting the ball travel, helping her to stay consistent to the left side of the field. She creates a good coil during her power slaps, leading to some good barrel whip to create that pop. Overall she has a great foundation to build upon offensively, pairing that with her quickness on the base paths she has the potential to compete at the next level in the future.
