2023 Deep South Prospect Showcase
Brooks Crawley is a 2026 1B/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Northwest Rankin. He ran a 7.59 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary First Base with a bigger frame with athleticism and strength throughout. Quick Footwork around the bag with a two handed funnel out in front. Showed a quick release on his throws across as he gets the feet in line with some accuracy. He showed plenty of feel for the position. Working from the left side of the box with a wide medium base that is slightly open with a toe tap trigger. He creates some rhythm with the hands as the rotate into slot well at load. He works to the pull side at contact point. From the right side of the box he worked with some slight tilt in the bat path with cary off the barrel working to a gap to gap approach. Brooks is an excellent student. He was named to the 2023 Deep South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect team.
