Brody Taylor is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 5-8 195 lb. frame from Mickleton, NJ. Broad shouldered strong and compact build. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with limited flow and shift into his swing, turns hard and tight and creates bat speed, works gap to gap with easy carry and impact off the barrel, strength is obvious in his swing and bat speed. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball cleanly out front and throws from an over the top arm slot, extra steps into his release, has some young arm strength. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch from the third base side of the rubber, high hand break, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some ride up in the zone and some run down low. Also threw a soft 1/7 curveball and was around the zone with both pitches. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
