2020 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Jason Quinones is a 2022 2B/C, SS with a 5-2 128 lb. frame from Newark, NJ who attends Hudson Catholic Regl. Recorded a 7.72 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, developing defensive skill set with a quick transfer into the throwing process and developing arm strength recorded up to 70 miles per hour across. Uses deliberate footwork into the fielding process with a slightly deeper funnel position and fairly good lateral range up the middle. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand set and small leg lift trigger. Middle-to-opposite field approach with developing bat-to-ball skills and feel for the barrel. Patient mentality with best impact to the right side of the field. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and added strength. Good Student.
