Dawson Turner is a 2022 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Benton, AR who attends Benton. Medium build with room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, fields out in front and stays under control to and through the baseball. Meticulous with his gather, throws stay on line to all bags, was gunned at 82 mph to the plate in the outfield workouts. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Pitches primarily out of the stretch, higher leg lift that works with good direction down the hill. Fastball up to 77 mph. At the plate, uses a narrow and open stance with a longer stride trigger. Hands work well down through the zone. Higher finish into his extension, looks to use the middle of the field. Good student in the classroom as well.
