Samuel Feliciano is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-2 245 lb. frame from East Longmeadow, MA who attends East Longmeadow. Recorded a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash time. Extra-Large, physical frame with well-proportioned muscle throughout and some athleticism to his movements. Primary first baseball with active footwork around the bag, clean funnel out in front and quick turns to make throws. Recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup delivery with short side step rocker into a well balanced, higher leg lift and good lower half usage down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 80s for the most part, topping out at 86 mph from a high 3/4's arm slot. Exclusively used fastball in this look, flashing heavy downhill action to both sides of the plate effectively, while expanding to all four quadrants when ahead in the count. Proficient strike thrower with good present arm talent, will continue to improve with development of secondary pitch to keep hitters off-balance. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and a big leg lift trigger. Lofted stroke with a heavy barrel, natural lift to it and raw power potential to the pull-side. Displayed fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with developing barrel accuracy that will improve and enhance his overall hit tool with minor refinements to his mechanics. Projectable frame with good present skill set and some upside remaining on both sides of the ball. Good Student. Named to the 2021 New England Indoor Top Prospect List.
