Coleman Wylie is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Sequoyah. Big young body with some present strength and room for more. Works from the stretch with a quick leg raise delivery, has a fluid arm stroke and a high 3/4's arm strength, good lower half drive to the plate, doesn't always get over his front side completely on release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets nice arm side life and showed very good fastball command to his arm side. Showed a whole four-pitch mix with three secondary pitches that were all pretty equal in quality, tunneled all his pitches well and is confident in each of them. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Showed his overall athleticism well at first base defensively with active feet and good balance. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open start with a late hand drop into his swing and a small lift and replace foot trigger, middle of the field line drive swing with good feel for the barrel. Interesting young pitching prospect with present polish and skills. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
