Lucas Rodriguez is a 2022 OF/ with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Ossining, NY who attends Ossining. Recorded a 5.14 second 40-yd dash time. Medium frame with present strength and room to physically mature. Primary outfielder with anticipatory footwork into the fielding operation and present arm strength. Moves well into the ball, gaining momentum and getting through release with accurate throws recorded up to 83 mph. Fundamentally sound skill set with room to add more arm strength in the future. Physical right-handed hitter with an even stance, hover trigger and engaged lower half mechanics. Uses well distributed weight shift to contact, creating an upward swing path with some gag-to-gap power. Shows consistent bat-to-ball skills with patient approach and impact to the middle of the field. Will continue to improve with added strength and maturity.Good Student.
