KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Peyton Hellenbrand is a 4'9, class of 2026, OF/2B from Wildwood, MO who attends Eureka HS. Peyton is a high energy, max effort, up and coming younger player who has an emerging ability that should continue to develop over the course of her career. Through her positive body language, it is very apparent that the game is very important to her. Hard not like the way she goes about her play. Palpable excitement! She ran a 3.79 20-yard dash with a 1.39 5-yard split. A primary OF, Peyton is deliberate and measured with her positioning. She plays through the fielding action well, Her glovework is sure and she transitions well. Her 47-mph throws are generally on target. GREAT effort! On the infield, Peyton shows consistent footwork to position and field. Her 47-mph throws are routinely accurate. At the plate, this RHH is balanced and linear. She keeps her hands inside the ball and has a middle-of-the-field to opposite field swing path. She shows consistent timing and a routine ability to make contact. Peyton has the right idea. Her foundation is solid and with her obvious desire and passion for the game, she will continue to be driven. More than anything, what Peyton needs is time and a chance to get a little stronger...and she will. Love her effort!

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
