Gabriel J Gonzalez is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends ESB Academy. Medium frame with a stocky build. Ran a 7.49 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball making sure he keeps it in front. Gathers the baseball and then works into his crow hop as he gains some ground. Consistent transfers as he releases from an over the top angle. Arm showing some carry as he threw it 79 MPH during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step and lift to a balanced leg kick. Medium arm circle in the back before he released from an over-the-top arm slot. Ran his fastball up to 73 MPH and mixed in a curveball that he was not afraid to double up. Commanded the breaking ball well. Right-Handed Hitter, relaxed, even stance to start as he works into a shorter stride. Short to it, long through it type swing as he had a good barrel presence. Steep plane type swing. Good Student.
