2022 PG Softball Winter Scouting Combine - Iowa
Bella Duncan is a 5-foot-7, class of 2025 RHP/1B from Morrison, IL who attends Morrison HS. Bella is a talented multi-positional player who has a strong fundamental base that will allow her to continue to grow her game as her young career continues. In addition to her noticeable talent on the diamond, Bella is also a recognized student in the classroom. She ran a 6.04 40-yard dash and was timed at 3.98 from HP to 1B. She also posted a 6'7 standing broad jump. A primary RHP, Bella shows strong command of three solid pitches. Her rise shows sound hop and movement now and is certain to get only better moving forward. Her change shows solid, late downward movement and is very deceptive. Her drop is an evolving pitch that she throws for strikes and will certainly gain more bite as she matures. Bella also took a turn at first base. She is quick to position, and her glove work is smooth and consistent. She transitions quickly and her powerful arm, that shows consistent directional momentum towards her target, unleashes routine 65-mph throws that are always accurate. At the plate, Bella starts with an upright, balanced, and even stance. There is some aggressive length to her stride, and she shows a consistently quick trigger. She is easy to and through contact and shows noticeable strength in her hands. The ball jumps from her barrel. There is some natural raw power in her operation. Big things are on the horizon for this up-and-coming future standout. She has a sound approach to every part of her game. With continued attention to detail, added strength and physical maturity, coupled with experience at a more competitive level, Bella should have a certain opportunity to play collegiately. Great things lie ahead for this talented player!

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
