Carson Ragland is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Cookeville, TN who attends Cookeville. Large frame with sloped shoulders. Ran a 7.94 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the baseball to the side as he comes through it, works to his target with a full arm action, gathers well with a short crow hop and developing arm strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a big rocker step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to an over the top arm slot, fastball has dive to it up to 73 mph. Righthanded hitter setting up with an open stance at the plate, weight sits on backside, takes a flat path to contact with a deep load and bat wrap, long hand path with average bat speed, creates contact primarily to the middle of the field. Outstanding student.
