Connor Ostrander is a 2022 SS/IF/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Granger, IN who attends Edwardsburg. Medium athletic build with some present strength plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, has a short and fast swing, gets his lower half into his swing well, inside swing path creates lots of gap to gap contact but has the ability to turn the barrel as well, accurate barrel that squares up the ball consistently, has a feel for hitting and solid present bat speed that will continue to improve. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Shows good range and athleticism in the infield on defense, works through the ball well and gets his glove in good position, has some arm strength and made accurate throws. Nice all around athlete who projects well. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
