Ty Magill is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Rockmart, GA who attends Rockmart. Smaller frame with a young, slender build. Ran a 9.39 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop sitting back on the baseball while fielding the baseball deep in his stance. Gathers it cleanly before shuffling into throws. Starting to develop carry across the diamond. Carries weight well into throws. Accurate to the bag. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a leg lift above the belt with weight on backside. Longer arm action before releasing from a three-quarter release. Repeatable mechanics while running his fastball up to 60 MPH showing late sink while landing it for strikes. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a pinched front foot. Little to no weight transfer relying on upper half to create bat speed. Linear swing path looking to drive the baseball the other way. Outstanding Student.
