Joshua Kross is a 2021 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Medina, OH who attends Brunswick. Big physical build with outstanding present strength. Switch-hitter, has bat speed and power from both sides of the plate, better swing plane and ability to square up from the left side, strength at contact is still obvious from the right side, squared up from both sides in the game and made the dome look small. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Has a flexible lower half for his size and moves well side to side, has good arm strength and nice directional footwork on his throws, plenty of on-line carry. Also pitched, loose and fast arm with good extension over his front side and some downhill plane. Mid-80's fastball gets on hitters quickly and he showed the ability to spot his fastball and throw strikes. Showed some feel and spin on his curveball as well. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
