Jayden Pack is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Brea, CA who attends Brea-Olinda. Long and lean, high-waisted frame with good physical projection. Ran a 7.46 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, uses a full arm action to create some deception to how he releases it with a behind the back takeaway. Fastball plays mostly true to velocity with the ability to miss some bats up in the zone while also flashing developing feel for a big breaking ball. Also worked out in the outfield, has some looseness to actions, fields it deep to the body and uses the same full arm action to generate easy throws to bags. Left-handed hitter, sets up slightly open and narrow in the lower half, fires the hands well to get the barrel head out front with developing bat speed. Generated mostly middle to pull side contact that will improve with added strength. Very good student.
