Joseph Taylor is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Medium slender build with present length and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, fields out in front and separates quickly. Clean transfer, carries his momentum to and through the baseball. Arm strength will continue to develop nicely alongside his build. On the mound, has a similar long arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Point to target type of separation. Falls off the hill towards his glove side. Fastball up to 70 mph, developing command with his fastball. Mixes in a 61 mph straight change with some good sink to the plate. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with quick twitchy hands that fire through the zone. Plenty of room for the power tool to grow. Looks to use the middle of the field, excellent student in the classroom as well.
