Ryo Shimokawa is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-7 176 lb. frame from Kobe, KY who is an international free agent. Developing athletic build with plenty of room to fill out in the future. Posted a 7.22 second sixty yard dash time. Primary outfielder. At the plate, uses a slightly open stance with a very high leg kick that forces a heavy linear weight shift in the box. Still understanding his timing with the high leg kick. Overall handsy hitter, shows strength in his hands with an ability to drive balls into either gap. Looks to pull the ball however, slightly lifted plane consistently generates backspin and launch angle. Solid ability to get the head out on inside pitches.
