Julio Henrique is a 2023 SS/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Cenapec. Looks the part with wiry limbs and a high waist, filling out nicely with more to come. A primary infielder that keeps a low eye level, some sporadic quick movements with the feet, and comes through the ball well. Stays balanced and uses his hands very well to give true hops. Funnels and transfers quickly with feel for his throws. The right-handed hitter uses a front shoulder load and foot lift to shift his weight to the backside, getting solid bat speed from the process. Slight downward path with some length in the zone, flashed ability to get the head out and drive to the pull side. Has some upside and some hand quickness to the swing.
