Christopher Gardner is a 2021 SS/UT with a 5-8 172 lb. frame from Selma, AL who attends John T Morgan Academy. Medium frame with an athletic, solid build showing mature strength. Ran a 7.37 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop moving well to and through the baseball with good range. Sits down in legs fielding the baseball out front with a clean gather. Quick transfers getting the baseball out of hand in a hurry. Accurate arm with throws around the bag. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with an upright look. Toe lift and stride with high hands working into a linear swing path. Bat speed showing to be plus. Looks to get the bat head out front and pull the baseball. Proved he can hit it where it is pitched. Outstanding Student.
